Stay for the Whole Season
More and more of our guests are coming to Winnipesaukee for the month, the summer, or the year — working remotely from the dock, or waiting for the right waterfront home to come on the market. A select few of our homeowners are open to longer stays.
Who This Is For
A long stay isn't for everyone — but if any of these sound like you, let's talk.
The remote worker
You can work from anywhere — why not a screened porch over the water? We'll match you with a home that has strong wifi and a dedicated space to set up.
The buyer-in-waiting
You're serious about buying on Winnipesaukee, but the perfect waterfront listing hasn't come up yet. Rent by the season so you're here when it does — and get to know the towns while you wait.
The seasonal family
Summer camp, family reunions, kids home from college — you want a single basecamp from Memorial Day to Labor Day, not the shuffle of back-to-back weekly rentals.

How It Works
Long stays are arranged case-by-case with the homeowner. We handle all the coordination — you tell us what you need and we'll find the best fit.
Tell us your plan
Dates, duration, group size, budget, and what you're looking for — waterfront, quiet road, room for a home office, wifi.
We pitch the owners
We know which owners are open to longer terms and which aren't — we'll approach the right ones with your details and negotiate a rate.
You settle in
One lease, one check-in, one home for the duration. Mail forwarding, cleaning, and anything else you need — just ask.
Why a long stay beats short-term shuffling
- •Better rates — monthly and seasonal terms are meaningfully cheaper than stringing together weekly rentals.
- •One home, unpacked — no moving days mid-summer, no re-learning a new kitchen every Saturday.
- •Tax advantages — NH Rooms & Meals tax does not apply to stays of 180+ days.
- •Local roots — farmers markets, favorite coffee shops, boat club memberships. Live here, don't just visit.
Plan ahead — really ahead
Most of our homes are already booked for summer 2026 as a stack of weekly rentals. If you want a long stay, the time to ask is now, for next season. A few last-minute openings do happen — but plan on a year of lead time for the best selection.
